Hello, and welcome to Botanical California!  

This is my attempt to record and share as many of California's botanical treasures as possible.  As this website launches, it is starting small — a place to sell my prints and flowers — but I have many plans for where I'd like to take it, and would love to have you along for the adventure.

A bit about me: Discovering and photographing botanical treasures, creating new designs, and exploring with my pups — Winston, Arthur, and Sabrina, who are pictured here — are my favorite things about being alive.  I'm infinitely fascinated by light and color, and love experimenting with new combinations of the two.  I have a bachelor's of science in magazine (yes, really — Magazine!) from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, which underscores my longstanding love of magazines, design, photography, publishing, and print in general.  Hopefully, you'll see these loves of mine reflected in Botanical California, for they are the inspiration and driving force behind all of this.
